Wikipedia: Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, or Chukotka (Чуко́тка), is a federal subject of Russia located in the Far Eastern Federal District. Chukotka has an area of 737,700 km (284,800 sq mi) and a population of 53,824 according to the 2002 Census. The principal town and administrative center is Anadyr.
