Wikipedia: Kokkola is a town and municipality of Finland. The town is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Central Ostrobothnia region. The town has a population of 45,902 (31 December 2009) and covers an area of 2,730.89 square kilometres (1,054.40 sq mi) of which 1,286.72 km (496.81 sq mi) is water.
