Wikipedia: Paral·lel is the name of a Barcelona metro station, currently the southern terminus of L2 and also served by L3. The two lines are side by side to facilitate transfer, with a direct connection between Zona Universitària (L3) and Pep Ventura (L2) platforms. The station used to be the interchange between L3 (towards Catalunya) and L3b (towards Sants), which were electrified in different ways (L3 by overhead catenary and L3b by a third rail), the current L2 platforms being served by L3b, and the station was called Puebloseco.
