Wikipedia: Olivenza or Olivença is a town and seat of the Spanish autonomous community of Extremadura. It is on a disputed section of the border between Portugal and Spain, which is claimed de jure by both countries and administered de facto by Spain. In spite of the refusal of Portugal to recognize the Spanish sovereignty over Olivenza, the issue is not a sensitive matter in the relations between Portugal and Spain.
