Wikipedia: Ludgate Circus is a location in the City of London at the intersection of Farringdon Street/New Bridge Street with Fleet Street/Ludgate Hill. Historically the main connection between the cities of London and Westminster, Ludgate circus is situated on the course of the river Fleet, London's largest subterranean river. The circle of Ludgate Circus was constructed between 1864 to 1875.
