Wikipedia: Luis Buñuel Portolés (22 February 1900 – 29 July 1983) was a Spanish-born filmmaker who acquired Mexican citizenship and worked in Mexico, France, and also in his native Spain and the United States. He is considered one of finest directors in the history of cinema.
