Wikipedia: Vladko Maček (20 June 1879 – 15 May 1964) was a Croatian politician from the first half of the 20th century, active within the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. He led the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS) following the assassination of Stjepan Radić, and all through World War II.
