Wikipedia: Protestantism' is one of the four major divisions within Christianity (or five, if Anglicanism is considered separately) together with the Eastern Orthodox churches, the Oriental Orthodox churches, and the Catholic Church. The term is most closely tied to those groups that separated from the Catholic Church in the sixteenth-century Protestant Reformation. The doctrines of the various Protestant denominations include justification by grace through faith and not through works, known as Sola Fide, the priesthood of all believers, and the Bible as the ultimate authority in matters of faith and order, known as Sola Scriptura, which is Latin for 'by scripture alone'.
