Wikipedia: Gaustad is a T-bane station on Holmenkollbanen (line 1) between Vinderen and Ris, at an altitude of 101.4 metres . The outer highway ring of Oslo (Ring 3) crosses the railway at Gaustad. Gaustad is the subway station closest to Rikshospitalet, although the tram system has a stop even closer.
