Wikipedia: Sheikh Lotf Allah Mosque is one of the architectural masterpieces of Safavid Iranian architecture, standing on the eastern side of Naghsh-i Jahan Square, Isfahan, Iran. The mosque was built in 1615 by the orders of Shah Abbas I of the Safavid dynasty. The architect finished construction of the mosque in 1618.
