Wikipedia: Khreshchatyk (Ukrainian: Хрещатик, Russian: Крещатик, Kreshchatik) is a station on the Sviatoshynsko-Brovarska Line of the Kiev Metro. The station is named for the Khreshchatyk avenue, the most central street in Kiev. The station was opened in 1960 along with the first stage of the Metro.
