Wikipedia: Ubon Ratchathani is one of the north-eastern provinces (changwat) of Thailand, and the country's easternmost. Ubon is about 600 km away from Bangkok. Neighboring Provinces are (from west clockwise) Sisaket, Yasothon and Amnat Charoen.
