Wikipedia: Studio 54 was a world-famous disco in the 70s and early 80s. Studio 54 originally was a New York City Broadway theater, then it became a discothèque located at 254 West 54th Street in Manhattan. The disco opened on April 26, 1977 and closed in March 1986 and briefly reopened in 1994 after a multi-million dollar renovation.
