Wikipedia: The Hellenistic expansion brought the Ancient Greeks in South Asia also known as Indo-Greeks. They established the Indo-Greek Kingdom or Indo-Greek Kingdom covering various parts of the northwest and northern Indian subcontinent during the last two centuries BC, and was ruled by more than 30 Hellenistic kings, often in conflict with each other. The kingdom was founded when the Graeco-Bactrian king Demetrius invaded India early in the second century BC.
