Wikipedia: Wigan Warriors Rugby League Football Club is a professional rugby league football club based in Wigan, Greater Manchester, England. The first team competes in Europe's engage Super League competition, playing its home matches at the DW Stadium, Wigan. The club is one of the original twenty two rugby football clubs that founded the Northern Rugby Football Union in 1895, following the schism from the Rugby Football Union.
