Wikipedia: Frankston is a city in Victoria, Australia. It is located at the southernmost edge of the Greater Melbourne metropolitan area, near the beginnings of the Mornington Peninsula. Due to its geographical location at the northernmost point of the peninsula, it is often referred to as the "Gateway to the Mornington Peninsula".
